1. FUSES - 99% of the time if you have a unit and the fuse is blown the amp is in need of service. Replacing the fuse will just waste your $$$ & it can cause more damage to your amp (burnt traces etc.)

2. DC Offset (HUM) is deadly to your speakers. If you hear this sound you need to unplug your unit ASAP and get your amp serviced. You will also need to check your speaker as many times it will destroy it.

3. RMS (ROOT MEAN SQUARE) - Constant Power That Amp Can Produce (Important Number (Watts)

4. DYNAMIC POWER / PEAK POWER - Maximum Power Amp Can Produce - Short Bursts Only (Not Very Important)

5. AMPLIFIER OUTPUT POWER - is limited by voltage, current, and temperature: Voltage: The amp's power supply voltage limits the maximum amplitude of the waveform it can output. ... This determines the minimum load resistance that the amp can drive at its maximum voltage.
